The Allegany College of Maryland Associate Degree Therapeutic Massage Program adheres to the mission of the college by providing a quality education to students and recognizing individual learning needs. The therapeutic massage curriculum is designed to be completed in four semesters and one summer session. Graduates receive an Associate in Applied Science degree Therapeutic Massage. Graduates of the program are prepared as accountable and safe therapeutic massage providers and are eligible to take the NCETMB. Graduates meet the qualifications for and may apply for Maryland certification through the Board of Chiropractic Examiners. For qualifications for other states students must check with the appropriate licensing or certifying agency for that particular state.
