The Associate of Arts Degree (AA) in Visual Fine Arts is committed to providing a stimulating working studio environment where students will explore a variety of artistic media and processes. The FPCC Visual Fine Arts program also serves the community at large through involvement in local cultural events and activities.
Learning Outcomes: With a focus on cultural awareness, freedom, personal vision, and achievement, the program provides students with experience in the disciplines of drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, design, photography, art criticism, and American Indian art.
This program is designed to be transferable for students who wish to complete a baccalaureate program at a four-year institution. Students intending to pursue a baccalaureate degree should consult the requirements of that institution when planning their program of study.
