Associate degrees in Adult and Continuing Education and Teaching: A program that prepares individuals to teach adult students in various settings, including basic and remedial education programs, continuing education programs, and programs designed to develop or upgrade specific employment-related knowledge and skills.
The mission of the ABE Program at Bellevue Community College is to offer a flexible program to meet the diverse needs of the adults of the Greater Eastside Community to become more self-sufficient. Students will be able to function independently, participate more fully in a global economy, and exercise the rights and responsibilities of citizenship. There is a $25 non-refundable registration fee for these classes.
Program Overview Adult Basic Education consists of two main areas of focus: ABE Education and GED Preparation. These classes serve the adult community and are available at the Learning Opportunities Center (LOC) on the Pasco campus and at the Kennewick WorkSource.
