Associate degrees in Aircraft Powerplant Technology + Technician: A program that prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to repair, service, and maintain all types of aircraft powerplant and related systems. Instruction includes engine inspection and maintenance, lubrication and cooling, electrical and ignition systems, carburetion, fuels and fuel systems, propeller and fan assemblies.
The requirements for an associate degree in Aeronautical and Aviation Technology may be satisfied by completing any of the certificate programs in addition to the associate degree requirements. Except in cases of a prerequisite requirement, it is not required to take courses in exactly this sequence; they are recommended in this order to facilitate success.
