Associate degrees in Aviation + Airway Management and Operations: A program that prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to the management of aviation industry operations and services. Includes instruction in airport operations, ground traffic direction, ground support and flightline operations, passenger and cargo operations, flight safety and security operations, aviation industry regulation, and related business aspects of managing aviation enterprises.
Students may earn an Associate of Technology degree by taking courses beyond
those required for the certificate in either the flight or maintenance area.

The job performed by an aircraft dispatcher is an integral part of the overall flight operations for airlines. An individual in this position works in conjunction with an airline pilot and is responsible for regulation compliance, weather and loading procedures prior to take-off.
