The purpose of the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program is to prepare qualified individuals who, by virtue of training in both theory and practice, are proficient in the areas of abdomen and obstetric/gynecological sonography. Sectional anatomy, ultrasonic instrumentation and imaging are the major components in this program. Skills are developed through clinical experiences using diagnostic ultrasonic imagery equipment. |
