Associate degrees in English Language and Literature, General: A general program that focuses on the English language, including its history, structure and related communications skills; and the literature and culture of English-speaking peoples.
Central Christian College maintains two year and career entry programs in the Communications department to provide for the needs of our students. Students who complete the two year Associate in Arts degree will find an easy transition into the four year Bachelor of Science Communication Major or into the Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts Major here at Central because the general education requirements are very similar.
The writing and literature courses of the English/ Literature major will transfer to a bachelor's degree program. Students in the English/Literature program should also take a variety of courses in the humanities and social sciences.
