This fine arts degree studio arts program prepares students for transfer into four-year art colleges as well as providing foundation art skills for those pursuing careers in the visual arts.
Program Goals
To provide students with a foundation in general education.
To provide a concentration of course work appropriate for an art major.
To ensure transferability of course work to four-year colleges and universities.
The Art Major with a Studio Art Emphasis is designed for students who wish to major in the visual arts, including Painting and Drawing, Printmaking, Graphic Design, Digital Arts, Photography, and related disciplines.
The Social Services Degree curriculum has a dual function. It prepares students for entry-level career positions in a variety of social service occupations and it provides the first two years of a course of study leading to a baccalaureate degree.
