Associate degrees in Medical Staff Services Technology + Technician: A program that prepares individuals to perform credentialing, privileging, personnel management, and accreditation compliance services for hospitals and other health care facilities and organizations. Includes instruction in medical staff organization and management, medical terminology, credentialing and re-credentialing, health care accreditation and regulatory standards, health care law, meeting and negotiation management, and office information systems management.
The Associate in Applied Science (AAS)degrees range from 64 to 85 credits and include at least 18 semester credits of general education. Students must select courses from at least three goal areas of the MnTC.
