The Advanced Technological Education (ATE) program in BGSU’s College of Technology offers a unique opportunity for students who would like to continue their formal education beyond an associate’s degree, but do not have time and scheduling flexibility each week to drive to a distant campus. All classes are offered on line using the BGSU Blackboard Portal. This College of Technology distance learning opportunity makes pursuing a bachelor’s degree more convenient for individuals who are employed full-time and have family obligations, yet want to continue their education. Studies are done at the time, place and convenience of the student, yet include a high level of interaction with both faculty and student colleagues.
