The Professional Golf Management (PGM) program in the Morrison School at Arizona State University's Polytechnic campus is one of only 17 programs accredited by the Professional Golfer's Association (PGA) of America. This four-year Bachelor of Science degree program will give students the knowledge, experience and confidence needed to pursue a career in the golf industry.
The PGM concentration is specifically designed for students who aspire to become Class A PGA Professionals* and work in management careers in the golf industry. The program consists of four main components: a Bachelor of Science degree in Agribusiness with a concentration in professional golf management, three levels of the PGA's Education Curriculum, 23 semester hours of golf-related curriculum (including courses in golf course operations, turf grass management, club fitting and repair, pro shop merchandising, movement analysis and sports psychology), and 16 months of internship in the golf industry.
Students must also complete the all of requirements in the PGA Education Curriculum, including the PGA Playing Ability Test.
