A concentration in ancient Greek requires a minimum of ten courses. The
requirements are as follows:
CAS CL 101 or CL 321
-eight courses from the offerings under ancient Greek above
-CAS CL 167
-one additional Classical Studies course, at the 400 level or higher, in either a classical language or a topic in classical civilization or history
Up to two courses in Byzantine or modern Greek above CAS CG 112 may
be used to fulfill the requirements. With the permission of the chairman or the Director of Undergraduate Studies, one course from the offerings under classical civilization or UNI HU 539 or UNI HU 540 may be counted toward this concentration.
