The College of Charleston is a state supported comprehensive institution providing a high quality education in the arts and sciences, education and business. Anthropology, through its global and comparative approach, explores human biological and cultural diversity both in the past and in the present.
Anthropology is traditionally divided into four sub-disciplines (biological anthropology, archaeology, anthropological linguistics, and cultural anthropology) through which it is linked to other social sciences, the natural sciences, and humanities.
