This program is designed for those students who intend to complete an undergraduate physics major at Appalachian and then pursue an advanced engineering degree. A bachelor's degree program in physics is considered to be excellent preparation for graduate work in engineering. It is usually possible for a student with this background to obtain a Master's degree engineering within three years. The Physics/Engineering program offers some flexibility to take account of the specific engineering field the student wishes to pursue.
