In the art program, you will be encouraged to work hard, seek inspiration and be creative and innovative while you develop critical thinking and writing skills. You will have the opportunity to experiment with various media as you develop your own artistic vision and prepare for your senior exhibition. Painting, drawing, photography, digital imaging, Web design, ceramics, prints and mixed media all are areas you can explore, as are art history, art criticism, museum studies and art administration.
Through art program, you can earn a Bachelor Arts degree with concentration in: Studio art.Typically, students who elect studio art prepare for a career in the art world and continue on to graduate school.
