This bachelors degree program is presently accredited by the Commission on the Accreditation of Athletic Training Education Programs (CAATE). Completion of the Athletic Training Education Program prepares students for careers in athletic training, sports medicine, and other paramedical areas. Upon completion of the degree, students are qualified to take the national certification exam to become a National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification (BOC) Certified Athletic Trainer. Students are also encouraged to pursue a teaching credential.
