The vision of the athletic training program at Appalachian State University is to prepare qualified athletic trainers for employment in public schools, junior Athletic Training Students colleges, four year institutions, professional programs, and other health care facilities. The program provides an effective blend of classroom instruction and clinical experience designed to prepare undergraduate students, in recognition, prevention, management, and rehabilitation of injuries/illnesses incurred by athletes and physically active individuals.
