Many biology majors at Baylor University are pre-health care students. This program is designed to prepare students for medical or dental school or graduate school in medical and molecular biology. The most common sequence of upper level courses include vertebrate physiology, cell physiology, vertebrate histology, immunology, molecular biology, cell and developmental biology, and bacteriology. This program is also appropriate for students interested in veterinary medicine, medical technology, or other health related professions. Graduates will also be prepared to work in technical areas in molecular biology as research technicians or assistants.

31 total hours; genetics lab, human physiology, cell physiology, 1 course in morphology and 8 hours of electives
