A student who completes the prerequisites for entry into an accredited medical technology program as described below may be awarded, upon completion of one year of satisfactory work at any accredited school of medical technology, the degree Bachelor of Science from Blue Mountain College with a double major in Biology Medical Technology. The degree will be awarded at the next commencement program after the completion of studies at the school of medical technology. The student should plan the electives to be included in the student’s program of study with the chair of the Department of Mathematics and Natural Science.
A student who plans to double major in Biology Medical Technology must earn a total of 107 semester hours, including core curriculum, general electives and credit transferred to Blue Mountain College prior to entry into an accredited school of medical technology.
