The Real Estate Land Use Affairs area of concentration is intended for students preparing for careers within the real estate industry, such as governmental and private positions relating to land development, planning, environmental regulation and finance; positions with lending institutions; management positions in public and private corporations concerned with investment, site location or eminent domain; and positions related to the marketing or sales and brokerage of real estate. Completion of the courses required for this concentration may qualify students to take the California Department of Real Estate Broker's exam.
