The full-time, two year program (including the summer session) spans five consecutive semesters and is designed for students who have already completed approximately two or more years of college. Upon graduation, the student will be awarded a Bachelor of Science degree. The first two semesters are spent primarily in classroom instruction, while the remainder of the program focuses on clinical education. Clinical experience will consist of adult and pediatric rotations obtained at various affiliated hospitals. There is a minimum requirement of performing 75 perfusion cases in order to be eligible to enter the certification process. Clinical relocation may be necessary.

The Cardiovascular Perfusion curriculum offers a single concentration in Perfusion Technology, which involves preparation for knowledge-based and skillful clinical practice.
