This program is designed to provide both theoretical and practical learning experiences centered around electronic communications. Emphasis is placed on the development of skills to apply the techniques to routine types of investigation, and to communicate the data acquired through these techniques to other personnel and to interact with non-technical personnel.

Upon completion of this Communication Technology Program, a graduate will be able to perform competently at the entry level in:

Telecommunications installations including:
1. Public, Commercial, and Corporate Terrestrial Broadcast Radio Stations.
2. Public, Commercial, and Corporate Satellite Broadcast Radio Stations.
3. Public, Commercial, and Corporate Terrestrial TV Stations.
4. Public, Commercial, and Corporate Satellite TV Stations.
5. Public, Commercial, and Corporate Cable and Closed Circuit TV.
6. Public, Commercial, and Corporate Cable FM Radio Stations.
7. Public, Commercial, and Corporate Carrier Current AM Radio Stations.
8. Video Productions.
9. Audio Productions.
10. Electronic Drafting.
11. Robotics Utilized in Broadcast.
12. Technical Writing.

Program Length:
The program is designed to enable a student, with the prerequisite academic skills, to complete 121 credit hours in four years.
