Computers are involved in every aspect of life in our society; even people who have no direct need to use a computer have to deal with data produced or processed by computers or to make decisions based on such data.
In the undergraduate division, the Computer Science department offers courses and facilities fora major in computer science leading to the BA or BS degree. A major has the necessary preparation for graduate work in the field and for employment in programming, systems analysis, and other computer-related professions.
