To graduate with a degree Computer and Management Information Systems, students
must have a grade-point average of at least 2.0 in those courses required for
the major, with at most one grade lower than a C. This applies to those courses
that have been taken at Adelphi in fulfillment of degree requirements.
The major in computer and management information systems requires 52-53 credits
of coursework.

* MTH 110 "Pre-calculus" or MTH 140 "Elementary Functions"
Note: Students considering a Computer Science major should take 140 rather than
110.
* CSC 156 "Discrete Structures"

* CSC 170 "Introduction to Computers and Their Applications"
* CSC 171 "Introduction to Computer Programming"
* either CSC 172 "Introduction to Algorithms and Data Structures"
or CSC 173 "Introduction to Computer Science IIA" .
Students planning to take further computer programming courses are advised to
take CSC 172 rather than 173.
