The Bachelor Criminal Justice degree builds upon the strong foundation provided by associate degree programs in Criminal Justice. The program increases and complements the skills already attained by persons working in a variety of positions in law enforcement, corrections, probation, or other related fields. Students must transfer in at least 27-33 semester hours of Criminal Justice courses that were taken in an associate degree program such as one taught by majority of technical colleges. Upper level courses in social and behavioral sciences, as well as advanced courses in Criminal Justice, strengthen graduates’ ability to relate to and interact with the people they serve.
