The Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice provides students with a solid background in Criminal Justice. The dynamic filed of criminal justice requires students with a well-rounded education, capable of meeting the challenges of criminal justice practice in the twenty-first century. ASU offers excellent preparation for students who wish to enter the diverse field of criminal justice, as well as an excellent education for current criminal justice professionals. Many students find that the Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice is excellent preparation for attending law school. The curriculum offers an interesting array of courses and faculty members.
Criminology and Criminal Justice students examine issues relating to crime, law, and justice. Student will have the opportunity to take classes with nationally recognized faculty as well as with a dedicated group of criminal justice professionals. The curriculum stresses understanding the structure, organization, and function of the administration of justice. Students will study theoretical perspectives on criminal activity and develop their research skills.
