The Electronics Engineering Technology (EET) concentration emphasizes electronics and support areas of manufacturing, computers, and management. It prepares individuals for job opportunities in all areas of electronics.

Educational Objectives of the EET Program
Graduates of the Electronics Engineering Technology program at East Tennessee State University will:
  • Possess the technical and professional skills to have successful careers in regional, state or national industries related to their discipline.
  • Demonstrate success in their careers by being promoted, being afforded
    additional training opportunities, and becoming leaders in their organizations and professions.
  • Show advancement in their profession and confirm this by examining training opportunities, promotion, or other substantive responsibilities.
  • Be compatible with the Department's mission of the translation of fundamental principles and emerging technological concepts to support articulate, ethical and knowledgeable professionals, the College's mission to promote social and economic development in East Tennessee, and the University's mission to educate students to become responsible, enlightened, and productive citizens.

    Educational Outcomes of the EET Program
    Electronics Engineering Technology students are expected to demonstrate these skills at the time of graduation:
