The mission of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction is to prepare pre-service and in-service teachers in the areas of elementary education. The department faculty is committed to providing comprehensive programs, rich in clinical experiences, and designed to produce teachers who are reflective practitioners who provide professional service to the community, the state, and the nation.
