The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Degree in Emergency Services Administration is for students who want a liberal arts-based degree that will also prepare them for a career in the growing field of emergency services. Students can earn up to 60 credits in prior learning, including credit for their academy training, making it possible to complete this degree program in four semesters. This program is available entirely online or can be completed taking a mixture of online and live-instruction courses.
Students pursuing the B.S. in Degree in Emergency Services Administration will first complete 59 credits of core course requirements. Core classes serve as introductions to specific areas in the liberal arts and emergency services. Once the core requirement is satisfied, students complete 30 credits of emergency services courses. The remaining 31 credits can be completed with elective general education courses. Students must complete 120 credits to earn their B.S. degree.
