Baylor University Bachelor degree Engineering (B.S.E.) Biomedical Option
The curriculum for the Bachelor of Science in Engineering (B.S.E.) program is designed to provide a strong foundation in: 1) general education, 2) mathematics and basic sciences, and 3) fundamental engineering subjects, together with: 4) the flexibility to develop specializations different from our B.S.E.C.E. and B.S.M.E. degree programs. This can be achieved by the student's selection of the Biomedical Option of the B.S.E. program, described more fully below.
To the general B.S.E. foundation noted above, the Biomedical Option adds additional courses in the biomedical sciences and biomedical engineering subjects that provide the student an opportunity to develop a strong background for engineering careers related to the field of biomedical engineering.
