Benedictine University Bachelor degree Engineering Science
Engineering Science is often referred to as a 3+2 program because the student spends three years at Benedictine completing all of the general education requirements and engineering courses, then transfers to the engineering school to complete the engineering program in two additional years. Two degrees are earned: a Bachelor of Arts with a major in engineering science from Benedictine University and an undergraduate engineering degree in a particular field from the engineering school. Work completed at the engineering school is counted toward the Bachelor of Arts degree which is normally conferred at the end of the fourth year in the program (the first at the engineering school).
