The College of Arts and Sciences, through the Graduate School of Fine Arts and the Department of Fine Arts, offers a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Fine Arts. Sixteen courses are required for the Major. Seven courses are a required core which all fine Arts majors must take. Three Art History courses are also required. In consultation with his or her advisor, an art major will select six studios in an area of concentration either by media such as painting or sculpture, or by concept such as the figure as form, subject, and content.
