Track G - three units including either GEOL 208 or GEOL 209 plus two
electives at the 300-level.
Plus: CHEM 121 and CHEM 123 AND two additional
cognate courses from the following: Mathematics 141, 143;
PHYS 115, PHYS 116, PHYS 167, PHYS 168; BIOL 195,
BIOL 210.
Track L - three units of geology at the 200-level or above (one must
be at the 300-level).
Plus: three cognate courses selected from: CHEM
121, CHEM 123; BIOL 195, BIOL 210; PHYS 115, PHYS
116; MATH 141, MATH 143, MATH 171, MATH 210.
PLUS: (for ALL geology majors):
PHYS 105.
Demonstrated mathematics proficiency at the MATH 125
level.
Completion of all other requirements as outlined in the
section “Requirements for All Students Majoring in Geology
