The major in German requires completion of a minimum of 42 semester credit hours. Students must take German 305 or 310, either German 325 or 335, and two more courses on the German 300-level, at least one German 400-level course, German 580, and German 600 and 610. Double majors who choose the language as the second major may complete only 40 semester credit hours.
