School Location
An individual planning to enter this program
must possess a bachelor’s degree from
an accredited institution, and s/he must have
appropriate access to the internet. Students
apply by completing the Application for
Graduate Certificate, which may be obtained
from the Office of Extension and Distance
Education (see the back panel for contact
information). Spaces for this program are
limited; therefore, applicants are encouraged
to mail the completed application form along
with two copies of official transcripts and the
$50 application fee to the Office of Extension
and Distance Education as soon as possible.
Admission to this certificate program constitutes
neither acceptance to the Graduate
School nor the Master’s Degree program in
Gerontology. (A student who is considering
pursuing the master’s degree Gerontology
should consult with the Gerontology
Program Director before the end of the first
term of this program.)
