The Program
Dunwoody is providing a new approach to Health Information Management, offering different educational pathways to one of the fast growing segments in healthcare:

Bachelor of Applied Science (4-year program): Our Health Informatics Bachelor program is one of the first 4-year programs of its kind in the nation and combines the management of medical information with the high-tech world of computer networking and I.T. It’s designed for students who do not have a health care background. Graduates of this twelve-quarter program earn a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree. Students entering the program must have college level Biology as it is a prerequisite to the program.

Bachelor of Science Completion (2-year program, plus required Associate’s degree health information management): Our Health Informatics Bachelor of Science completion program is ideal for those already working in the field and would like to upgrade their Associate’s degree into a Bachelor’s degree. To enter the program, students must have already successfully completed an Associate of Applied Science in Health Information Technology or are a Registered Health Information Technician.
