The Bachelor of Arts degree in History requires a minimum of 45 semester hours with a grade of "C" or better. Program requirements include:
* Twelve hours of core requirements in History
* Eighteen hours of History electives
* Fifteen hours of supporting coursework
At least 21 hours in history courses and six hours in supporting courses must be taken at the upper division. The major requires completion of HIS 300 Historical Methods which should be scheduled early in the student's program of study and HIS 498 History Pro-Seminar, to be completed as an exit project during the student's final semester.
