School Location
The School of History, Political and International Studies offers programs with major in History. The History major is enhanced by opportunities for independent study, internships, study abroad and in Washington D.C. The School houses the Omicron Delta Chapter of Phi Alpha Theta, The international Honor Society for History. Students in this program can establish careers in teaching, the law, government, museum/library archivist, publishing, theology in addition to the private sector.

History majors may choose to specialize in American history or European history in this multidisciplinary environment, which offers outstanding opportunities to broaden the educational experience and grow comfortable with other disciplines.

CAREER OPTIONS
The opportunities for Bachelor of Arts in History majors cover a broad spectrum of professional endeavors. The literacy, broad knowledge and communication skills of history majors graduating from this program over the years have allowed graduates to successfully pursue a wide range of careers. Preparing students for careers in both the public and private sectors, it includes concentrations in Pre-law, International and foreign Affairs, Public and Government Service and Education.
