The “classic” humanities option offers the maximum amount of choice and variety for students seeking a solid academic grounding in multiple disciplines. In addition to one interdisciplinary seminar, students may choose 24 credits of courses in philosophy, history, gender studies, literature, art, and humanistic social and behavioral sciences.
Requirements for Primary Concentration
Eight courses from any of the following areas:

Philosophy
History
Art
Humanistic social or behavioral science
Two interdisciplinary seminars highlighting broad themes in the humanistic study. Topics might include the multicultural citizen, or the ideas of modern and medieval, or the nature of good and evil.
