The concentration in design culture is an interdisciplinary program for students interested in the arts and how design reflects and affects culture. It will provide students with the basic skills that will enhance their ability to pursue careers as varied as advertising design and copy writing, fashion merchandising, retail services, art criticism and/or careers in nonprofit cultural institutions such as arts and crafts museums and galleries.
