The International Business and Logistics major at California Maritime Academy is an interdisciplinary degree that provides opportunities for students to gain essential skills in various aspects of international business, logistics, and supply chain management.
California Maritime Academy is the only institution on the West Coast offering a unique undergraduate major in this crucial aspect of economic life: international trade and the efficient, effective movement and storage of goods and services within an international setting.
International business and logistics students are multi-faceted “ critical thinkers;” cross-functional, cross-cultural, technologically savvy, groomed with important international business skill sets, but also taught how to cope with change and continually learn throughout their careers.
The abundant opportunities available to students from increasing international trade emphasize the continuing need for professionally trained individuals who can work in diverse areas of global transport management, outbound and inbound operations management, inventory planning, sales and order management, demand forecasting, customer service, and information management functions
