|
The International Studies program is unique within the Midwest and beyond for its interdisciplinary approach to international affairs and its commitment to developing the full social and political potential of international civil society. Unlike conventional programs that focus on international security and international political economy, this program is oriented around themes addressing international political economy and global culture.
Our program is an excellent choice for students planning international careers in academic research, law, business, government, social services and media. The curriculum combines language training with rigorous preparation in economics and interdisciplinary social sciences. Students are invited to develop five-course concentrations tailored to their interests. Foreign study is recommended but not required.
