Professional areas of concentration include Comparative Societies in a Global Perspective and Human Rights and Human Security. International studies majors must complete a minimum of 128 credits to earn the undergraduate degree.

The following professional areas of concentration are available to international studies majors:

Comparative Societies in a Global Perspective
This track offers an opportunity to understand the political and socioeconomic factors that interact in the international arena. It defines global actors and the roles of diplomacy and conflict resolution.

Human Rights and Human Security
This track provides an introduction to the systems, laws and norms for the promotion and protection of human rights and human security through inspection of ideological and cultural perspectives.
