The goal of the Leadership & Organizational Studies concentration is to engage you in reflective inquiry into the nature of dynamic leadership and effective organizational life for the 21st century.
Particular emphasis is placed on theories and models for guiding systemic and participatory (or collaborative) change. You elect this focus if you are interested in pursuing work in fields such as management, organizational psychology, business, whole systems design, policy making, advocacy, education, health care and social services. As you complete this concentration, you also acquire the necessary prerequisites for successful graduate study in these fields.
