Students choosing to concentrate in Finance & Banking will master the functional areas of the field including the study of financial management, investments, financial markets and institutions, international finance and new venture financing. Students are prepared as professionals skilled in the acquisition, development, and utilization of funds for economic and social purposes. Students can also choose the option of pursuing graduate studies. The concentration in Finance & Banking consists of 18 credit hours. Twelve (12) of these credits are required, and six (6) may be satisfied by choosing from elective courses in Finance Banking listed. The additional hours must be selected in consultation with the student’s advisor.
