A major in Media Communication and Technology is designed to offer students a curriculum of communication theory, application and practice in media production.
Students study the theoretical foundation for applying skills in digital media:
Digital Media (photography, graphics and sound)
Electronic (television and video)
Web-based Publishing (multimedia, animation, visualization and graphic processes)
Majors are encouraged to qualify for a semester or summer-long internship where they can apply on-the-job skills.
The program prepares students for entry-level positions in the communications field.
