Students majoring in merchandising have two concentration options: apparel merchandising or interiors merchandising. To declare the merchandising major, students must have a cumulative 2.5 GPA, complete a minimum of 12 s.h. at ECU, and complete both MRCH 2999 and MATH 1065 with a C or better. Throughout the program students must make a C or better in all MRCH/IDSN major courses and business administration minor courses. Undeclared majors in apparel merchandising are allowed to take MRCH 1135, 2239, 2350 and 2999. Undeclared majors in interiors merchandising are allowed to take MRCH 1135, 2350, IDSN 1180, and MRCH 2999. Minimum degree requirement is 126 s.h. of credit.
