Mission:
Coker College is a student-centered, comprehensive, baccalaureate degree-granting college. It is dedicated to providing every student enrolled in the Day Program and in the Evening and Extended Studies Program an academic curriculum based upon a uniformly excellent liberal arts core that enhances the structured development of key personal skills.

A liberal arts degree music requires the utmost dedication and perseverance but the rewards are many. Possible career options include: elementary and secondary school music education, church music direction, musical direction of an ensemble, performer, accompanist, college or university professor, concert management, private studio teacher, and arts administrator. Some of these careers will require further study beyond the undergraduate level. Students are encouraged to consider graduate school and professional diploma programs.
