The natural sciences major is an interdepartmental science program that leads to the Bachelor of Arts degree. It is intended to serve students whose interests and objectives call for a major in the humanities or social sciences that is accompanied by broad background in the natural sciences; e.g. history and philosophy of science and technology. Natural sciences may be taken only as a second major. The student also must declare and complete a major in one of the humanities or social sciences, except for the programs indicated below.
