This program is designed for individuals who have a bachelor’s degree in a field other than nursing. Applicants must complete 28 credits of prerequisite coursework . The program is a 12 month, full-time program and is comprised of 53 credits of discipline-specific course work. Students who elect to pursue this program are highly encouraged not to work given the intensive nature of the coursework. Graduates from this program are eligible to take the national licensing exam for RNs. The BSN-Accelerated program prepares graduates to provide direct care in a variety of health care settings to diverse patients and their families, as well as to pursue higher degrees in nursing.
